Dutch gum cards, filmisar in Swedish, are picture cards of film stars, musicians, TV shows, Disney and comic characters, issued from 1950 to 1983. Our catalogue lists 15,668 of them in 103 sets, with 3,145 names. Every number on this page comes from that catalogue and from our own eBay sales, so it changes when the data does.
The first cards were sold one at a time with a piece of chewing gum. From 1952 nearly all came in colour, ten to a pack. More on how they were sold, with sources, on the About page.

What single cards sell for
Since February 2026 we have sold 3,195 single cards on eBay, lots and sets not counted. The median price was $4.49, half went for between $2.99 and $6.99, and nine in ten for $11.99 or less. The highest was $206.99.
Star pages give the number of sales, the median and the highest price for that star, for example Elvis Presley or Audrey Hepburn. Set pages with enough sales do the same.
Where to buy
Our eBay shop has 4,362 original cards listed. Each set page shows which of its cards are in stock. When we do not have a card, its card page links to other sellers' copies on eBay.
