About the set

• Issued in 1960. Numbered K 1–150, but 156 cards in all, because six numbers have two different pictures.
• A popular set, and one of the less common ones. Its star line-up draws both collectors of single stars and collectors of whole sets.
• Sold in packs. The wrappers read "FILM-STJÄRNOR" with the figure "10" and a pack number such as "SERIE K 3" or "SERIE K 4".

How to recognise

• The number is a K followed by the figure, for example "K 22".
• 1957 K Set (with Studio) also numbers its cards with a K. The two sets put different stars under the same number (K 4 is Jill Ireland here, Ann Blyth in the 1957 set), the 1957 set stops at K 136, and most 1957 cards name a film studio.

Numbers to know

• Six double numbers. Each has an ordinary card and an extra picture that was probably added near the end of production and printed only for a short time:
  • K 17: Fred Astaire, and extra Floyd Patterson.
  • K 27: Audrey Hepburn, and extra Floyd Patterson.
  • K 52: Arlene Dahl, and extra Floyd Patterson.
  • K 92: Elvis Presley, and extra "Ingo och Floyd" (Ingemar Johansson with Floyd Patterson).
  • K 132: Frank Sinatra, and extra Brigitte Bardot.
  • K 150: Elvis Presley, and extra Brigitte Bardot.

• The six extra pictures are by far the hardest cards in the set and are much wanted. The ordinary 150 cards are all about equally hard to find.
• Two Elvis pictures are used twice: the picture on K 10 is the same as on K 150, and K 89 is the same as K 92.
