About the set

• Issued in 1961 by Cumulus of Stockholm. Colour, numbered D 1–D 150. Four numbers have two cards each, so the full set is 154 cards.
• Sold in packs. The wrapper is printed in blue, has a window showing a card, and reads "Serie D 55" and "10 världsberömda filmstjärnor i strålande färger".
• One of the most common sets.

Variants and printings

• Cards on bright, chalk-white paper are hard to find; the usual card is yellowed.

How to recognise

• The number has a "D" and a dot in front, as in "D. 52".
• Most cards are on yellowed paper.
• Almost all the pictures are also in 1961 A Set (Sans Serif), on the same numbers. There they carry an A instead of a D, and the colours are usually brighter. The D cards look a little darker.

Numbers to know

• Four double numbers, each with Floyd Patterson as the second picture:
  • No 18: Joel McCrea / Floyd Patterson
  • No 38: Kirk Douglas / Floyd Patterson
  • No 86: Marion Michael / Floyd Patterson
  • No 138: Burt Lancaster / Floyd Patterson
