Brigitte Bardot on Dutch gum cards

Brigitte Bardot is on 333 cards across 44 series (175 in stock now). Only Elvis Presley and Doris Day have more cards on this site. Nine out of ten of hers were printed between 1958 and 1963, so nearly every set from those years has a few.

That many cards makes a complete Bardot run a long project. A good way in is to pick one or two sets and finish those first.

Earliest and latest

Her earliest cards here are three in the 1955 Nr Set (601-998). The last ones are in the mid-1960s numbered sets. After 1965 there is only one, a 1974 Popbilder card.

What to check before buying

The same photo can turn up in more than one set, with a different number, border or text style. The set name and the number on the card tell them apart, so check both against the checklist. The 1959 A Set (Serif) and the 1961 A Set (Sans Serif) are an easy pair to mix up.
