K Set (with Studio)
Uncommon, with all numbers about equally hard; printed on soft card, so copies in perfect condition are hard to find. 1960 K Set also uses K numbers but puts other stars on them: K 4 is Ann Blyth here, Jill Ireland there.

More about this set
About the set
- Issued in 1957. 136 cards, numbered K 1–136.
- Printed on soft cardboard, so cards in perfect condition are hard to find.
- A popular set and an uncommon one.
- Sold in packs. The wrappers read "10 världsberömda FILMSTJÄRNOR i strålande färger" and carry a pack number such as "K 110" or "K 111", above a window that shows a card.
How to recognise
- Most cards up to about K 110 name a film studio, for example "M.G.M.", "R.K.O.", "Columbia", "Fox", "Arthur Rank" or "Europa". For many of the higher numbers no studio is recorded. K 87 Brigitte Bardot reads "Kolibri".
- Cards with two stars join the names with "&" (K 19, 63, 65) or a dash (K 115, 120, 125, 128).
- The pack numbers on the wrappers are not card numbers: the K 111 wrapper's window seems to show the Tommy Steele picture from K 114.
- 1960 K Set also numbers its cards with a K. It runs to K 150, has six double numbers, and puts other stars under the same numbers (K 4 is Ann Blyth here, Jill Ireland there).
Numbers to know
- No double numbers and no gaps.
- All 136 numbers are about equally hard to find; the set as a whole is uncommon.
