Serie A (Printed in Holland)
Very hard to find in every number, and much in demand. The cards turned up at a prize stall at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, and some still have the prize, such as "BALLONG", handwritten on the back.

More about this set
About the set
- Issued in 1964. 99 cards, numbered 1–99.
- Probably not sold in Sweden in the usual way. The cards turned up at a prize stall at Gröna Lund, the Stockholm amusement park. For a small coin a visitor chose a card from those laid out on a table, and every card won something: the prize was written on the back (a balloon, toothbrush, whistle, comb, cut-out sheet or similar). The visitor kept the card too.
Variants and printings
- A version with German text on the back, giving a short biography, for example Rex Gildo "Geb. am 2.7.1939 in München/Deutschland".
- A Finnish version on thin card with no laminate, with "Jenkki – Landets mest sålda tuggummi" on the back.
How to recognise
- Cards from the prize stall can have the prize handwritten on the back, for example "BALLONG".
- No 63 The Beatles is a landscape card.
- Not the same set as 1960 Serie A, a Swedish set of 198 pictures on thick laminated card.
- Not the same set as another "Serie A – Printed in Holland" that was sold only in Holland, on thin card with no laminate (not on the site).
Numbers to know
- Every number is very hard to find, and the set is much in demand.
