- The number is an X followed by the figure, for example "X 4". The card also carries the star's name in capitals and, on most cards, a short studio mark such as "PAR.", "M.G.M.", "W.B.", "R.K.O.", "20th CENT.", "UN. INT." or "ART. R.".
- X 87 is printed "SUSAH HAYWARD" for Susan Hayward.

- Issued in 1955. 99 cards, numbered X 1–99.
- Issued by Svenska Handelskompaniet in Malmö.
- An older set, moderately hard to find.
- Sold in packs. A known wrapper reads "10 världsberömda FILMSTJÄRNOR i strålande färger" with the pack number "Serie nr 64", the figures stamped or written in by hand.
How to recognise
- X 84–87 are landscape cards, with number, name and studio along the short side.
- Not to be confused with 1958 X Nr Set, whose numbers read "X Nr.", or 1961 Serie X, whose numbers read "Serie X".
Numbers to know
- No double numbers and no gaps.
- All 99 numbers are about equally hard to find.
