Nr Set Unnumbered (Low Numbers)

Fairly common, every card about as easy as the next and a little easier than the numbered version. The pictures match 1955 Numbered Set 8 (401-550); only the missing small number on the left tells these cards apart.

Good to know

Complete uncut sheets exist, with 100–150 pictures on a sheet.
Each card shows the star's name and the studio, for example "Doris Day" and "Warner Bros.", but no number. They look like ordinary name cards.
The card named "Howard Hughes" uses the same picture as No 467 in the numbered set, where the picture is in fact Victor Mature.

More about this set

About the set

Dated 1955. 150 cards with exactly the same pictures as 1955 Numbered Set 8 (401-550), but with no number on any card.
Imported from Holland and sold in Sweden by G. Rejving & Co., the firm that later changed its name to Cumulus.
The wrapper reads "10 världsberömda FILMSTJÄRNOR", "I STRÅLANDE FÄRGER" and "Serie nr 164" (ten world-famous film stars in brilliant colours). An album titled "Filmstars Album" goes with the set.

How to recognise

To tell one from the numbered 1955 set, look for the small number on the left: the numbered cards have it, these do not.

Numbers to know

All 150 cards are about equally easy to find, and on the whole a little easier than the numbered version.
