Good to know
- There is a Dutch printing of the Roy Rogers pictures No 35–48 on thinner card. Those cards have no number and carry "Paramount" in small type under the name.
- The front shows the name, the studio and the number, which sits on the right with "Nr" in front, for example "Nr 5".
- No 16 Bill Holden has no number printed. He is the only man among No 1–24.

About the set
- Dated 1954. 48 hand-coloured cards, numbered 1–48.
- A short set, and an uncommon one.
- No 1–24 show a mix of stars, nearly all of them women. No 25–34 are all Doris Day and No 35–48 all Roy Rogers.
How to recognise
- It looks much like 1952 Numbered Set 7 (1-198). The differences: here the number stands on the right with "Nr" in front, and the lettering is in capitals rather than bold.
- The Roy Rogers cards are marked "Paramount". No 48 is a landscape card with the text along the side.
Numbers to know
- The whole set is uncommon. No 1 Virginia O'Brien, No 24 Jean Hagen and the Roy Rogers cards No 35–48 are a little harder to find than the rest.
