The Jetsons on Dutch gum cards
Thirteen Jetsons cards exist, all from 1964 and 1965: eight in the 1964 G Set and five spread over three 1965 sets. Every card, number by number.
The Jetsons turn up on thirteen Dutch gum cards, all printed in 1964 and 1965. Eight of them sit in one set, the 1964 G Set, and the other five are scattered over three sets from 1965. The whole family is there: George, Jane, Judy, Elroy, the dog Astro and the robot maid Rosey. Together with Bonanza and Lassie they are the TV cards in sets that are otherwise full of film stars and singers, which is part of why cartoon collectors and Dutch gum collectors keep bumping into each other over these.

The G Set (175 cards, 65 in stock now) is the one to start with. The cards carry a printed "G" in front of the number, so a card reads "G 12 Georg Jetson". The captions are Swedish: George is spelled Georg, and Judy is captioned "Jetsons dotter", Jetson's daughter.

George is on three of the eight, so a "one of each character" run from this set is six cards: #2, #12, #24, #115, #125 and #135.
1965: five more cards in three sets
The two 1965 letter sets BA and HB carry the same two Jetsons cards at the same numbers, so if you collect by number you will meet them twice.
- 1965 BA #57 and 1965 HB #57: George with Henry
- 1965 BA #137 and 1965 HB #137: Jane and Elroy together
The fifth card is #1 in the 1965 numbered set on whiter board, a Jane Jetson card that opens that set.
Collecting them
Thirteen cards is a finishable list. The G Set cards are the ones we see most often; the 1965 cards show up less, and the pair in BA and HB are easy to mix up since only the letter on the card tells the two sets apart. Check the printed letter before you file one.
Condition on these runs the same as the rest of the 1964–65 cards: soft corners and a light crease are normal, clean square copies are the exception. The value figure on each card page is our estimate for a copy in that clean, excellent state.
