Popbilder Unnumbered Series

Collector notes

• The Stora Popbild-serien in five types, -65, -66, -67, -67-68 and -68, in one checklist here. The numbers are for reference only; they are not printed on the cards.
• Popbilder -65: printed 39 to a half sheet, at first with a laminated front, and sold in packs marked "TV 64 – 10 Popbilder", sometimes "TV 66".
• Popbilder -66: printed 78 to a sheet. A reprint changed the background of the Lollipops cards from yellow to pink, and 15 pictures were replaced by new ones, which are much harder to find. The "TV 66" pack holds almost only this type.
• Popbilder -67: almost only pop, plus one Winnetou card and a very hard to find, much sought-after Cassius Clay.
• Popbilder -67-68: 48 pictures, 39 of them from one sheet where every picture was printed twice, the rest from a reprint with only The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
• Popbilder -68: mostly pop, with three cards that show four pictures each and five comic cards (The Phantom, Superman and Batman). The "TV 68" pack mixes several types, most often -68.
