Nr Set (601-998)

About the set

• Issued over 1955–58. Numbered 601–998, 392 cards in all.
• Printed on soft card, so the cards rarely turn up in fine condition.
• Almost every picture shows an American film star.
• The set was printed more than once.
• A wrapper linked to the set reads "Serie nr 221" and "10 världsberömda FILMSTJÄRNOR i strålande färger" (ten world-famous film stars in brilliant colours).

Variants and printings

• A few cards differ in their text: the name can be set in a smaller or a larger typeface, and on cards with two names the order of the names can change along with the typeface size.
• Colour variants exist, and some cards have neither name nor number.
• These variants are not valued above the normal cards.

Numbers to know

• No number ending in 99 or 00 was issued: No 699, 700, 799, 800, 899 and 900 do not exist. That is why the range 601–998 holds 392 cards.
